Material worth Rs 2.20 lakh was stolen from the store of CPWD office in Gittikhadan area. According to police, the theft took place between 12.45 pm and 2.30 pm when store in-charge Alok Rammohan Agrawal (41) had gone for lunch. The thief entered the store room after breaking open-latch of the front door at Seminary hills and walked away with 14 bundles of copper wire and other material. A case was registered by Gittikhadan police.
